ENTRAIN

Entrain has recorded seven albums, available on Dolphin Safe Records, all of which have been praised for their ability to shift effortlessly between musical styles - from rock, blues, calypso and ska, to zydeco, jazz and funk - often within the same song."The whole Entrain concept is based around the drums and infectious rhythms. Once we've got that.... anything goes, everything goes," explains Major. As Sam Holmstock says, "The most important thing that we try to do with our music is bring everybody together in the spitit of peace, love, fun and a ton of drums!" Entrain's lastest record "Entrain 7-Just a Matter of Time!" has enjoyed heavy rotation in such trendsetter markets as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New England, Upstate New York, Aspen, Santa Fe, Houston, Cincinnati, and Nashville, among others and climbing important industry trade charts like those in CMJ, Album Network, FMQB, and The Gavin Report. Entrain's visibility has increased recently, as their song "Dancin' in The Light" has been featured in a national TV and radio commercial for The Sylvania Light Company. Epic in sound and kaleidoscopic in vision, the eclectic Martha's Vineyard-based six piece Entrain has been thrilling critics and fans alike since it's inception. Formed by drummer Tom Major in 1993, Entrain is also conga/djembe/trombonist Sam Holmstock. Joining them is bassist M'Talewa, lead vocalist/guitarist/keyboards Jeff Clark , saxaphonist Phillip Young and guitarist Johnny Trama. Veterans all, their collective resume includes stints with such diverse players as Bo Diddley, Carly Simon, Chuck Berry, Southside Johnny, Sam Kinninger, John Browns Body, Flor De Cana, and Blood Sweet and Tears.

Since it's inception, Entrain has jammed with the likes of singer/songwriter James Taylor, Grateful Dead Alum Bob Weir and rock legend Bo Diddley, Not to mention amateur saxophonist and professional leader of theFree World Bill Clinton. Entrain continues to perform as a hugely popular live act throughout the North East and Mid-Atlantic, and in 1995 the band garnered a Boston Music Award for Best Live Show.


Puro Bandido

Puro Bandido's music is high energy, Latin Rock and was formed in the Mission District of San Francisco. Puro Bandido was instrumental in the development of Border Rock - crossing all borders; having no boundries. Their Sound is a combination of old school and new sounds c The band has opened for Linda Ronstadt, Tower of Power, Eddie reated by a combination of a driving percussion, a rhythmsection incomparable and vocals to match.Palmieri, and Santana.




George Gritzbach

The music is blues/R&B based, we play a good deal of funk and New Orleans. What distinguishes our live performances is a healthy dose of slide guitar and the addition of racked harmonica, as well as high quality original compositions. We play up-tempo material with the addition of a ballad or two per set.




Dr. Tequila

Now onto Dr. Tequila, a Latin & Blues Funk mix supplied by Dr Tequila himself Richie Barron and Five Latino Players from Jorge Santana's Malo. "Bandido" aka Richard Segovia has been the good Doctor's Music Director since the inception of the project.



Walking the Line

Walking the Line is the most authentic performance both visual & the music of Johnny Cash. Playing the most loved hits and some rare gems of Johnny Cash while recreating the look, feel and flow of Johnny Cash concerts. Walking the Line takes you on a musical journey that has become the Johnny Cash Legacy by performing material from every decade of Cash's legendary career. Playing the part of Johnny Cash is New York's own Tom Cavanagh, who is best known for his career as a guitarist and songwriter and has credits that include Lita Ford, The Backseat Devils, Almost Queen and Broadway's Rock of Ages to name a few.

Cavanagh's voice, look and actions don't just replicate Johnny Cash, it is Johnny Cash. The seven piece band comes complete with three Carter Sisters providing the harmonies and three of Long Island's most gifted musicians on guitar, drums and bass. If you love the music of Johnny Cash but never got to see him live, this is as close as a fan can get. And if you were lucky enough to see Cash live, you'll appreciate Walking the Line all the more when you see and hear this most accurate recreation



Johnny Gunn

Has played with bands, and/or members of Eddie Money, Cold Blood, Bandido, Metallica, Tesla, Y&T, Nightranger and Ian Gillan's Band. Johnny has opened for Santana, Los Lobos and Linda Ronstadt.




Rachel Allyn


Rachel Allyn is a Country singer/songwriter who's Talent is hard to ignore. With a Voice full of power, emotion, and grace, she is reminiscent of some ofthe great Female talents that have come before her. She has one foot squarely rooted in Country Music while the other resides in in good old fashioned Rock n' Roll. One hand has a firm grip n todays sound, while the other steadfastly holds onto the Classics.Rachel represents the past and present of country music and does so with respect, talent and class.
