of veteran and talented musicians brings to it. Not your mama's cover

Puro Bandido

George Gritzbach
The music is blues/R&B based, we play a good deal of funk and

dose of slide guitar and the addition of racked harmonica, as well as
high quality original compositions. We play up-tempo material with
the addition of a ballad or two per set.

David Becker Tribune
The David Becker Tribune has produced some of the most
rewarding Contemporary Jazz since the late 1980s. Allmusic
referred to them as a band that occupied what could be
considered a healthy middle ground in the electric jazz realm
which favored a very melodic and accessible blend of jazz, pop
and rock but had a lot more bite, substance and imagination than
the sort of lightweight fluff that was dominating new adult contemporary
(NAC) radio at the time.

TC KROSS

TC Kross is a perpetual power house. There is no doubt this Rock
Goddess is in her element performing with artists such as Teddy Cook
(Ronnie James Dio), Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper, Trans Siberian

Mangold, (Cher, Fiona) they also produced TC‘s First CD, “On The
Edge“. Others were, Viet Renn (N’ Sync & the Backstreet Boys) Gina

Pizzas and Other Stuff: Domino's Pizza To Be Delivered via Tightrope at Wembley Stadium

Wednesday, 14 April 2010 - Courtesy of Dominos Pizza

Domino's Pizza To Be Delivered via Tightrope at Wembley Stadium

Jade Kindar-Martin will create history at Wembley Stadium on Saturday April 19th 2010 when he becomes the first person to walk across the width of the world famous venue - but he will be doing it at a height of more than 150 feet on a wire no wider than that width of your finger!

As part of the pre-match show at the Saracens v Harlequins Guinness Premiership clash, the daredevil performer will walk the 500 feet across the roof of the world famous venue on a wire just 16mm thick – while also delivering a pizza in full Domino’s uniform!

The sky walk, sponsored by Domino’s Pizza, is yet another first for Saracens at the iconic venue which has already hosted matches against Northampton Saints, South Africa and Worcester Warriors this season in front of club record crowds.

Kindar-Martin is no stranger to creating history having sky walked at some of the most unique spots around the world. He set a Guinness World Record when he walked 1,500 feet across the River Thames and he topped that with a 1km walk across the Han River in Seoul to set another world record.

The Sky Walk is just a small part of the pre-match show at Wembley on Saturday which includes performances from 90s pop sensations Right Said Fred, the hit West End play WarHorse, circus acts and there will also be 10,000 knights at the stadium.

Tickets are on sale now priced £10 for adults and £5 for U16s and are available from Ticketmaster or by calling 0844 847 2482.

Performer Spotlight: A is for April, Amazing and Alligator, as in Kachunga and the Alligators!

This month we spotlight a show that will quickly become the most requested entertainer at your event, Kachunga and the Alligator.

The show is entertaining, exciting, hilarious and educational, yes if you are not careful you might just learn something at this attraction.  It is perfect for all areas of the country whether or not the American Alligator is indigenous to your locale.  Featuring Kachunga, which is one of the Castillo brothers or their counterpart Bert and a lovely land loving assistant/narrator.  Kachunga is in amazing physical shape, and he would have to be to present this very physical show.

The show features a decent sized pool for the alligators comfort and the excitement of the audience as well as a stage and an eyecatching backdrop.  Typically there are two or three alligators traveling with the show of various sizes.  The origins of this show have their roots with the Seminole Native people of Florida who have for centuries practiced the skill of handling alligators.

During the show Kachunga enters the pool to wrangle the alligator up onto the stage, which is no easy task.  Stand to close to the pool and you might find yourself a little damp, a great thrill for the kids.  Kachuga will safely (hopefully) get the better of the 'gator and carry him up on to the stage.  At this point a volunteer will be chosen from the audience to get the chance to touch the 'gator and let everyone in the audience know just how an alligator feels, safely.

Kachunga will then demonstrate some of the Seminole alligator handling techniques perfected by Florida's native peoples.  This includes mesmerizing the alligator, putting his hand into the 'gator's mouth and holding the animal with only his chin!

This show is thrilling!  I have seen audiences line up an hour in advance to get a good spot and return over and over again to the show.  Kachunga and the Alligator is frequently rebooked by the event year after year.  Fair managers tell us it is the most requested show to return they have ever had.

What type of event is Kachunga and the Alligator perfect for?  Any show with a family audience especially, fairs, festivals, hunting and camping shows, school events, company picnics and so much more.  There are three units of Kachunga and the Alligator available and they book quickly for the peak season, don't delay to reserve your date call today!  A few dates left for 2010, if you are disappointed this year, you can book now for 2011 and I suggest you do!

March 2010 in Review

We are soaking wet up here in New England, nearly 20 inches of rain have fallen in three weeks, making March is wettest ever.  In a typical year we receive 40 inches of rain so does this mean we have received half our rain for the year? Probably not, but I'm sure there are many events wishing that were so.

The phones have really picked up as people are snapping up entertainment for the spring, summer and fall of this year.  This month peoples interest has really turned to thrill shows, action sports shows, monster truck shows and daredevils.

On March 21st we paid our annual visit to the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts for their fantastic Saint Patrick's Day Parade.  They had a lovely warm day, which was a rarity here in the past month.  Provided by MacKay Entertainment for the parade was Molly the Clown whom we have worked with for many years, Molly is an alumni of Vermont's own Circus Smirkus as well as a veteran of Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.  Big League Brian also joined the crew, he is a regular performer/stilt walker on Yawkey Way at every Red Sox home game.  Brian was seen in the movie Fever Pitch and if often seen on many many sports news shows.  Boris Koski took a ride through Lawrence on his Velocipede as a Leprechaun.  Joining them in the strolling performer team was Dumbo and KooKoo the clowns.  Strolling performers are a great addition to parades, as any parade coordinator can attest, they have the ability to fill in the gaps that happen somehow between parade units and keep the audience entertained with slapstick jokes, juggling, bike riding and much more.

For the first time in the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade two camels from Zoo Shows marched in the parade.  The Dromedary O'Camels as we call them on St. Patrick's Day were a big hit with the children.  I'm betting it was one of the only St. Patrick's Day Parades around to have live marching camels!  Camels are often seen around during Christmas Parade's as well as a must have for Three Kings Day Parades.  We are fortunate enough to have camels available throughout the country for appearances, parades, rides, photos shoots and even a few performing camels as well!

On Sunday the 28th is was great to get an inside look at Herschand Family Entertainment as the reality show "Undercover Boss" took CEO Joel Manby on a secret mission through some of their property's to get a day in the life view of some of their employees.  We will be visiting Wild Adventure's late this spring which is a Herschand Family Entertainment property.

We have received word from the High Flying Pages Trapeze Act that they have one short run left to book this summer.  If anyone is looking for a fantastic family show with lots of action (Trapeze, Russian Swing, Ponies) there is an opportunity to book them between August 9 to 22nd.  We should be able to accommodate one or two fairs that we can route between Michigan and Vermont.  Please call us if you would like to place an offer for this crowd pleasing act.
