Performer Spotlight: A is for April, Amazing and Alligator, as in Kachunga and the Alligators!

This month we spotlight a show that will quickly become the most requested entertainer at your event, Kachunga and the Alligator.

The show is entertaining, exciting, hilarious and educational, yes if you are not careful you might just learn something at this attraction.  It is perfect for all areas of the country whether or not the American Alligator is indigenous to your locale.  Featuring Kachunga, which is one of the Castillo brothers or their counterpart Bert and a lovely land loving assistant/narrator.  Kachunga is in amazing physical shape, and he would have to be to present this very physical show.

The show features a decent sized pool for the alligators comfort and the excitement of the audience as well as a stage and an eyecatching backdrop.  Typically there are two or three alligators traveling with the show of various sizes.  The origins of this show have their roots with the Seminole Native people of Florida who have for centuries practiced the skill of handling alligators.

During the show Kachunga enters the pool to wrangle the alligator up onto the stage, which is no easy task.  Stand to close to the pool and you might find yourself a little damp, a great thrill for the kids.  Kachuga will safely (hopefully) get the better of the 'gator and carry him up on to the stage.  At this point a volunteer will be chosen from the audience to get the chance to touch the 'gator and let everyone in the audience know just how an alligator feels, safely.

Kachunga will then demonstrate some of the Seminole alligator handling techniques perfected by Florida's native peoples.  This includes mesmerizing the alligator, putting his hand into the 'gator's mouth and holding the animal with only his chin!

This show is thrilling!  I have seen audiences line up an hour in advance to get a good spot and return over and over again to the show.  Kachunga and the Alligator is frequently rebooked by the event year after year.  Fair managers tell us it is the most requested show to return they have ever had.

What type of event is Kachunga and the Alligator perfect for?  Any show with a family audience especially, fairs, festivals, hunting and camping shows, school events, company picnics and so much more.  There are three units of Kachunga and the Alligator available and they book quickly for the peak season, don't delay to reserve your date call today!  A few dates left for 2010, if you are disappointed this year, you can book now for 2011 and I suggest you do!
